PTC Websites, such as Ojooo and Scarlet Clicks - which you already signed up for if you're at this point, and
Heaven Clix, are not only good ways to make extra money from home, they're great ways to get a whole bunch of cheap advertising. I use the funds I make from Heaven Clix to buy a ton of cheap advertising to direct to my other websites and reflinks, because honestly, I can make even more from them in the long run by doing that. For instance, I might get paid half a cent by a third party for every hit I can get them to their website. I can buy web traffic on Heaven Clix for a hell of a lot less than that, and simply re-sell it at a higher price. Yeah, you can do that. We'll discuss it in further detail on the next page.
I really, really love Bitsurf. Not only can you drive free traffic to your website, they also pay you Bitcoins for using their service, with a low cashout! It's not much...it's a satoshi for every two web pages you autosurf as of this writing, but you don't have to do anything except log back in about once every 8 hours or so. It's almost a "set it and forget it." Like I say, though, if you can spend even a few minutes a day on this, over time, you will see results. I'd really appreciate it if you use my reflink at

Good old fashioned, printed flyers
So, being honest here, even in the 21st century, there's still nothing like good old fashioned printed flyers and handbills to get people's attention. If you have access to a computer and a printer, you can simply print your own (I recommend investing in a laser printer if you plan on making a bunch of flyers, or it'll get very expensive. Inkjet printing is very expensive per impression.) You can print up some flyers with your website URL on them (make it something simple and easy to remember.) I will provide a sample of the one I use (but you'll want to change the website to your own) here when it is completed. It doesn't have to be fancy. Simpler is better. You'll notice that I have a flyer that consists of four "mini flyers" to a printed page. This not only saves paper (and more importantly, ink, which can get expensive), while giving you four times as many flyers, but you can leave these "mini flyers" a lot more places. If you don't have reasonable access to a printer, I recommend
VistaPrint and either getting some cheap flyers, postcards, or even business cards made. Actually, this is a better option if you can afford it, but I don't know your financial situation.
There are many great places to drop off a few of your flyers, including but not limited to:
- Laundromats. People get bored at laundromats. They usually bring their phones or even laptops these days. Especially the closer any particular laundromat is to a college campus. They're likely to visit your website just for something to do. They might even take this course, or one of the many others we'll be offering soon. You'll even be able to offer your own courses eventually. Most laundromats have bulletin boards where you can pin a few flyers, or even tables where you can simply lay them out with the magazines. I've even put a few on top of washers or dryers, and/or in a window sill.
- Bulletin boards at college campuses - College students are always looking for ways to make extra money, and at least in the United States where I live. They also have ready access to multiple computers and free power, so they can literally get their own Internet Cash Machines up and running, even on multiple computers (students have access to lots and lots of computers).
- Newspaper tubes/receptacles Many daily newspapers still use tubes and receptacles for home delivery of their publication. Unlike postal mailboxes, there are no laws in most places regarding who else can use these. Some management people at some newspapers will not like you doing this, but there really isn't that much they can do about it, and usually about the worst thing that'll ever happen is either (a) the newspaper carrier steals the flyer that was intended for your customer - rare but it happens (and they might visit the site anyway), (b) you might get a nasty call or email from someone at the newspaper if they know who you are and know how to contact you, (c) you might get pulled over by law enforcement, but this is rare, and as long as you're not breaking any laws, it's very unlikely you'll get so much as a warning, let alone a ticket, or (d) the home owner or tenant may tell you not to leave flyers in their newspaper tube anymore (again, rare).
Just a quick warning, you should NEVER do the following with printed flyers:
- Never, ever put flyers on windshields in parking lots of stores, businesses, and especially places of employment. People get really funny, or even downright angry, about ANYONE touching their car. Additionally, if you damage their vehicle while securing a flyer to their windshield wiper, you could theoretically be held liable for the repair in many jurisdictions. Even if not, you should never risk damaging someone else's property to promote your website. I personally know people who have been arrested for attempting this in parking garages in major U.S. cities - no, I'm not one of them. Don't touch someone else's car unless you're their passenger. Plain and simple.
- Do not pass out handbills or flyers in other people's places of business without their permission. You probably won't get permission even if you ask, but just don't do it. Most businesses actively prohibit - and have people trespassed for - attempting to solicit on their property, let alone inside their place of business. Even the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts have to get permission first to set up a table outside.
- If you are in the USA, DO NOT put flyers inside active U.S. mailbox unless they have a postage stamp on them. You can actually be charged with a federal crime in the United States for placing anything in someone's mailbox without adequate postage on it. Some ZIP codes are more aggressive about this than others, but seriously, just don't even take the chance. Newspaper tubes, however, are generally fair game, even if they're those ones that are built into mailboxes - just don't put your flyer in the enclosed portion of the mailbox that is reserved for U.S. postal mail. If you're outside the USA, placing flyers in mailboxes may be illegal in your country as well - check your laws.
